A velvety Pinot Noir that’s easy to like. Plum and cherry carry the fruit, and a note of herbal tea adds some depth and a touch of calm. There’s real tension in the wine, but nothing in it is hard or sharp. It stays smooth and rounded from start to finish, which makes it flexible: it works with lots of different cuisines and just as well for no occasion at all. Where it really shines is with mushrooms and high-quality cheese.
