Daniel Schweizer
Zementa 2019
Zementa 2019
Samtrot is a mutation, let's say a freak of nature, of Pinot Meunier discovered not too far away from Daniel's hills back in 1928 in Heilbronn, Southern Germany.
The characteristics of this rare grape variety are similiar to Pinot Noir. Cherry-fruit, pleasing acidity and overall a very charming body.
2019 was an exceptional vintage that made this wine very full of life, purity and detail. Layer over layer you'll find how Daniel's fine touch comes to play.
This will impress any parent in-law.

What can we say about Daniel? He's our first connection. After meeting him and his wines, we were inspired, we wanted to bring his whole collection to Berlin.
His philosophy is simple yet profound: wines should reflect their truest selves, untouched and unapologetic.
Daniel cultivates his ENTIRE vineyard solely with horse assistance, two horses called Willi and Funa
BY PROMOTING NATURAL WINES, WE HOPE TO EDUCATE AND INSPIRE A GREATER APPRECIATION FOR THE ART OF WINEMAKING, THE BEAUTY OF NATURE, AND THE IMPORTANCE OF SUSTAINABILITY.
